..Superman has better feats than either of them last I checked. And even if you scale I'm pretty sure that's at best one guy who's a bit stronger than everyone else compared to say, Kal-El and Zod who were making sonic boom punches after a relatively short time, in addition as we've seen they get the powers whether or not they're in the suits so... everyone is gonna be as strong as Superman in this case. Not to mention my memory is fuzzy, but didn't Odin end up getting replaced by Loki with a disguise? Who got his arse kicked by almost everyone in Avengers, particularly Hulk? The Aether wasn't destroyed, it was only contained. The end credit scene had Sif and Volstagg delivering delivering the Aether to the Collector.
Plus how many Kryptonians are left from the cinematic universe (MoS) while the Asgardians in the MCU had like how many? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMv80Q63xAA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBruqUp-3cI When I said Thor 2 changes, Loki replaced Odin for obvious reason that Hopkins doesn't want to return to play the character again, Loki did the same thing in the comics and EMH show and used the Odin force to annihilate the entire Avengers. |

That there are more Asgardian's is kinda irrelevant since most of them are weaklings it's only the extra strong or those with good powers like Loki that would be a threat, the rest would be fodder really. Also yeah the strength of Odin is highly questionable if Loki managed to kill him, I guess we won't know what happens until Ragnarok maybe but whether he captured or killed him he still pulled it off, even though as far as the comics go Odin should overpower him 99.9999% of the time. Still, it is hinted that Odin is more powerful than Thor but it can't be by that much. Actually, this battle could change a lot depending on how the Kryptonians in the DC Universe handle magic. Their durability is pretty damn high anyway Clark and Zod were taking buildings down and didn't even make each other bleed. Half the Asgardian's barely seem more capable than the likes of Captain America. |

Did you hear Zack Snyder in the audio commentary say they were sonic booms? Yes/no? If you say it's obvious you can see it in the movie, it's also obvious the Kryptonians were effected by 50 calibre bullets, missiles while it absolutely had no effect on Hulk. The extra strong ones are Thor, Sif, Volstagg and what's him name...... forgot. Asgardians are warrior race that within the movies battle the frost giants and among others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMg1NwzhB8Y And yes, Thor's Mjolnir is that power in the comics and MCU. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMv80Q63xAA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSbyknf4vJ4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opK7mPZtBSI
Are you not familiar with the comics? It has nothing to do with power, Odin from time to time needs to go into a state called Odinsleep to recharge the Ordinforce, in this state Ordin is left vulnerable as in the comics and in the EMH. And plus Thor is strong without his hammer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=advsN-DfY2k Edited by Zoom, Mar 25 2016, 03:24 AM.
